    Description

This listing is for "one" spur which was in a box with my G S Garcia spur which is listed on eBay.
This listing is for only one spur, not a pair.
This spur has NO MARK that I can find.
It could be an old Garcia, without a mark I cannot say for sure.
Some of you who may know Garcia spurs more than me.
The other marked spur that came with it is slightly different in design but close.
This has the original patina. The original black coating has worn off in most areas.
I shined the silver just a tad with a cloth.
This is a very old spur around the turn-of-the-century I'm not sure of the exact age.
I wish I had the other spur that exactly matched it.
    Perhaps you do.
This is fresh from an estate sale in Northern California.
Please review the photos for condition, the silver onlay is perfectly smooth and worn against the side of the spur, it is very secure on the metal, I cannot move a thing.
Under a loupe , I can see that the silver has been nicked and used quite a bit in the past.
This silver I cannot bend at all.
This spur has good weight and I can tell it is very well-made. Not sure if the leather ankle strap is the original or not.
It looks to be the same type of leather strap as my other spur online.
The spur measures just under 1 3/4 inches at the rowel. The length of the spur without the strap is around 6 inches long.
The rowel is centered straight and secure, and can move up and down slightly.
    Weight is approximately 5.3 oz
    Please email for any questions.
A wonderful piece of Americana Western history.
