Description

Authentic, 100% Native American-made arrows. The Lightning Arrows are symbolic representations from the Navajo origin story of the "Hero Twins" who journeyed to visit their father, Sun Bearer, to gain access to these special weapons to rid the monsters that were wreaking havoc on the people. The Lightning Arrow is hand constructed using cedar shafts, flint arrow heads, deer sinew, turkey feathers and pine pitch. The Lightning Arrow is hand painted using natural traditional earth pigment, the colors of the four sacred directions and it wears a symbolic lightning bolt on each side. The Lightning Arrows have traditional meaning in their origin story and are collectors' items. They also make excellent gifts or awards for accomplishments or special challenges.
